Church Notes
Bulletin Notes: July 18, 2010
- We welcome those who are visiting with us this morning. There is an attendance register in each row. Please sign and pass to the person next to you.
- There will be a special offering this morning for the building fund. God has been
very gracious to us in the provision of our current facility. He has also blessed
us as we continue to have great unity within our body and continue to grow. As
a result, we move ever closer to needing to address facility issues. The session
encourages special offerings to be giving that is beyond our regular tithe. Please
consider how the Lord may be leading you to give to this fund as our body grows.
- The Lord’s Supper is a visible representation of the gospel to us. By it, Christ’s death is shown to us, and we are strengthened in our faith. As bread was used in the Lord’s Supper to show forth Christ’s body, wine was used to show forth His blood. If, for reasons of conscience or health, you choose not to use wine, grape juice is provided in the outer ring of the tray. We invite those who are not taking the Lord’s Supper to consider the prayers that are found in the bulletin.
- If you missed last week’s sermon, you may pick up a CD in the foyer.
- Nursery is available for children ages 3 and under
- Next Week’s High School to Adult Sunday School Class:
